For asymmetric spinnakers, top-down furling remains the optimal solution for handling your sail. Initially seen on maxi yachts, this concept has since been adopted by smaller sailing vessels. With its swivel tack, the sail is furled from the top down, allowing it to progressively collapse without jamming.
